Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the use of private chauffeur services offered by Auréa Transport. By booking a trip, the client agrees to all terms described below.

1. Booking and Deposit

Every booking is confirmed by a 25% deposit of the total amount, payable by credit card at the time of booking. The remaining balance (75%) is due on the day of service, payable by card, cash, or Interac e-Transfer.

2. Changes and Cancellations

Any request to change or cancel a booking must be submitted by phone at 1 438 451-0624 or by email at info@aureatransport.com. Applicable cancellation fees are detailed in our Cancellation Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

3. Taxes and Gratuity

All rates shown are before taxes. GST (5%) and QST (9.975%) are added to the final amount on every invoice. Gratuity is never included or mandatory — it remains entirely at the client's discretion.

4. Waiting Time

• Airport transfers: 60 minutes of complimentary waiting time included after landing.
• All other trips (point-to-point, wedding, event): 15 minutes of complimentary waiting time at the pickup location.
• Beyond the complimentary time, waiting is billed at the vehicle's standard hourly rate, prorated per minute (for example, a GLS 580 at $199/hour: $199 ÷ 60 = $3.32 per minute).

5. Additional Fees

• Parking and tolls: re-billed at actual cost, upon presentation of the receipt.
• Unplanned additional stop on a fixed-price transfer: $15 per stop, or conversion of the trip to hourly-rate billing if multiple stops are required.
• Cleaning or damage fees: from $150 to $500 depending on severity, charged to the card on file in the event of damage (stains, breakage, damage, etc.).

6. Capacity, Luggage, and Onboard Rules

• The number of passengers and pieces of luggage must comply with the stated capacity of the reserved vehicle (see our fleet page). An undisclosed surplus may result in boarding refusal or vehicle-change fees.
• Smoking is prohibited in all our vehicles, without exception.
• Pets are accepted only if declared at the time of booking; cleaning fees may apply.

7. Punctuality Commitment

If a driver delay of more than 15 minutes is attributable to Auréa Transport (and not to unforeseeable traffic or a force majeure event), a 10% discount on the trip amount is applied automatically, up to a maximum of 50% in the event of a prolonged delay.

9. Limitation of Liability

Auréa Transport makes every effort to ensure safe and punctual service. However, our liability cannot be engaged for delays or inconveniences attributable to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather conditions, road closures, flight delays, or any other force majeure event.

10. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be held liable for a failure to fulfill its obligations if such failure results from a force majeure event, including, without limitation, extreme weather conditions, road accidents beyond our control, strikes, or government measures.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district where Auréa Transport's head office is located.

12. Changes to These Terms

Auréa Transport reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. The version in effect is the one published on our website at the time of booking.
